1456 W. 85th Inspection Report Comments / Scope of Work
The following items were identified on the inspection report and have been
repaired:

Lightly scrape and paint basement walls where the efforescence is showing
Add wood to sister joist where large drain pipe goes through it
Secure loose siding on south side of exterior
Caulk around windows and spots of siding where gaps are present
Trim tree branches so they are not touching building or severely overhanging
Deck does not need to be painted
Tuckpoint mortar where necessary (if large cracks or gaps)
Repair basement window on SW corner (could put in new glass block, or board it up
securely and paint)
Add cover plates to junction boxes in basement
Repair inoperable outlets in Unit #2 (inspector marked them with blue tape)
Unit #3 - reconnect ceiling light fixture
Replace dirty air filters in furnaces
Exterior doors: add caulk around the frames, and weather stripping to the base
Unit #3: repair tiles and caulk in bathroom
Unit #3: Install drywall in ceiling, finish and paint
Unit #2: Repair window hardware
Basements in northeast ohio nearly all show signs of moisture to some degree,
especially in houses of this age. Running a dehumidifier can alleviate higher moisture
easily.
