Estimate was to clear and repair drain tile in
basement and stop constant flooding.

Services

OPTION 2After quoting the basement filled up with a
couple inches of wastewater. Here is the
scope of work (and notes) to correct the
issue:
That was a serious clog. We pulled out
approximately 15 gallons of solid waste.
Non-flushable wipes, 50+ tampons, etc. I
will attach the pictures. Here is the scope of
work for 2 techs that worked on it all day:
-Inspected and attempted initial clearing of
drain by removing surface debris and
snaking with 35 ft auger.
-Advanced to heavy-duty 5/8" auger,
running to 100 ft multiple passes through
affected drain line.
-Accessed and snaked main cleanout to
isolate and clear downstream obstruction.
-Performed hydro-jet assisted flushing
concurrently with augering to dislodge
compacted blockage.

-Successfully restored drain flow;
monitored drainage until standing water fully
evacuated.
-Directed remaining wastewater to drain
and supervised drying process over
approximately 1.5 hours across ~20x40 ft
basement area.
Cleaned and disinfected wastewateraffected floor and lower wall surfaces using
cleaning solution and rinse.
-Made room to allow for a proper drain
cover and installed drain cover
-Reassembled and attached PVC drain
structure servicing utility tub and washing
machines.
-Removed debris and left work area clean
and operational.
-Labor was 16 hours

With the floor paint in the condition it is, let us know if you would like
us to quote scrape and paint it. The tenants, I believe, are just happy
to have a dry basement, ability to wash clothes, and hot water
restored.
