It is recommended that the client read the entire report. 3.0 EXTERIOR 3.2 Wall Surface 3.2.1 Some damaged siding noted. Recommend replacement/sealing to reduce possible moisture/pest intrusion and for intended appearance. 3.2.3 Wood rot identified in areas throughout the exterior. Further evaluation is recommended to determine the extent of potential damaged and repair as needed to prevent future concerns. 3.3 Eaves / Fascia / Soffit 3.3.1 Fascia damage is visible although most of the fascia is concealed by the gutters. Recommend further evaluation to determine the full extent of damage and repair as required. 3.4 Trim 3.4.1 Wood trim around exterior is in need of maintenance. Recommend repairing (as/if needed), scraping, prepping, recaulking and repainting to reduce the potential for further deterioration. 3.5 Porch(es) 3.5.1 Structural settlement noted to the porch and porch roof . Recommend a qualified contractor replace the damaged sections and repair as needed to reduce further deterioration and provide intended support. (Exterior Front) 3.5.2 Provide handrail(s) on the stairs for safety. The current front porch hand rail is loose. The rear steps are missing handrails. Exterior Back Exterior Front 3.6 Exterior Storage Room 3.6.1 Structure of the exterior storage room is poor. Most framing is rotted or inadequate. Recommend removing the structure. (Exterior Back) 4.0 ROOFING SYSTEM 4.5 Roof Drainage 4.5.2 Roof gutters are damaged, plugged with leaves and debris or missing. Proper roof drainage is critical to controlling moisture near the home.
