1315 East 114 th St, Cleveland, OH Units checked out: One (unoccupied 1 unit) Exterior Material Proper irrigation Gutters have fallen apart so bad irrigation Driveway Sidewalk Grading Backyard is a mess with (trash, debris and growth) Exterior structures (decks, balcony, exhaust) Rear shed has bad roof and looked like it was being used by vagrants prior as a hang out spot Front porch is a mess with garbage and debris Some weak sections meaning bad or improper framing Landing has half bad rotted wood where is bends and cracks as I walk on it Roof & ventilation Shingles are basically disintegrating Siding Siding wood slats are ok but need new paint and some patches especially for pest made holes and such Doors Rear storm door is broken Windows Some wood and vinyl windows Some chips and cracks Missing screens Some issues opening due to bad alignment and sealed by paint Interior Doors General interior Lots of wall access panels are loose or are open One in particular led to the attic where squirrels and other pests are Had to scare them to close that panel up Previous leaks inside due to plumbing Basement seems to also have had a leak as a few of the cpvc had failed with cracks and separations Walls Ceiling Plaster for most and dining room has a drop ceiling (mostly broken) Lots of cracks and some areas with holes Floor Laminate and has lots of cracks Kitchen Appliances Surfaces Plumbing Broken water line Water meter seems to be working but is shut off due to many failed cpvc lines No utilities Bathroom Chimney, fireplace, wood stove Heating system Type Old mechanicals Electrical Electrical issues in the basement such as going right to knob and tube after breaker panel Lots of straight wire nut to things with no junction boxes On first floor there are tubes sticking out of the ceiling with lights so potentially it could still be wired to the tubes there Meter No utilities Subpanel none Breaker panel Not a lot going on but the wires should stay clear of the bus bars or mount points A few of the wires like neutrals are going in front of the bus bar which can lead to potential arcing if enough current is present Wire insulation only works to a certain extent till range and current are above standard code Overall Looks like they tried to finish the basement and is incomplete Health & safety concerns Growth which was green and white not black and gray or white So more standard fungus like that which is on trees Sprayed with chemicals, fungicide, vegecide , and etc Coated in paint as a precaution after the matter Pests Pests like squirrels in building Cats in basement area
