1278 East 187 th St, Cleveland, OH Units checked out: none (Occupied 1 unit) Exterior Material Brick Lost a lot of the mortar (needs repointing or parging ) Proper irrigation looks like a system is in place but the down spouts terminate close to the foundation which leads to erosion of the structure Driveway concrete and asphalt but its in disrepair and is more closer to a gravel driveway with big tire tracks or dirt and grass Sidewalk concrete and those are becoming loose and basically almost like loose gravel Grading Fairly level and allows water to get away from the building gradually But Large overgrowth of adolescent trees¸shrubs , vines, and bushes that will harm the building as they can be a problem over time as they damage or can be a hazard to the building in the future Example: tree breaks and falls on building vines break off or deteriorate siding etc Exterior structures (decks, balcony, exhaust) Fascia of the first level roof is rotting away Signs of pests seen as holes are particular and the way they are made Roof & ventilation Currently there is a tarp on top of another tarp tack boarded with one by ones covering the roof Number of shingles look so deteriorated that they are falling apart (note the black squares on the roof in the picture There is an antenna mounted to the chimney and that can be a future issue if not checked regularly Chimney does not have a vent cap which prevents water, debris and pests Siding Looks to be shiplap and paint is doing ok but certain areas are wearing down Doors Did not see as it was occupied and they were home Windows Did not see as it was occupied and they were home Interior (did not go inside as it was occupied) Doors General interior Walls Ceiling Floor Kitchen Appliances Surfaces Plumbing Bathroom Chimney, fireplace, wood stove Heating system Type Electrical Meter Subpanel Breaker panel Overall Plumbing/ fuel system Attic, insulation & ventilation Health & safety concerns Pests -306931 593658 0 0 Looks like is or was carpenter bees
