I am attaching evidence in support of my appeal. The property was not an active rental unit at the time of citation (2/27/2026). It has been vacant for an ______________________________________________________________________________ extended period and is currently under contract for sale with a scheduled closing date of 4/7/2026. ______________________________________________________________________________ The Lead-Safe Certification ordinance applies only to active rental units. Therefore, the ordinance does ______________________________________________________________________________ not apply. Even if considered a rental, there was no tenant occupancy at the time of citation, and therefore ______________________________________________________________________________ no tenant exposure to lead risk.
